The Pilecki Report – film screening in New York (November 21)

Witold Pilecki

We cordially invite you to the screening of The Pilecki Report, a must-see film telling the story of Polish hero and resistance fighter Witold Pilecki.

The film depicts the incredible story of Witold Pilecki, a distinguished army officer, who joined the Polish resistance in the early days of the World War II, volunteering to enter the Auschwitz concentration camp and report on the horrors of the German atrocities inside the camp. In the camp, he organized a resistance network among the prisoners and smuggled intelligence out. Pilecki’s reports circulated among Allied governments, providing one of the first eyewitness accounts of the Holocaust.

The screening will take place on Tuesday, November 21, at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, 233 Madison Avenue (Jan Karski Corner), New York, NY 10016, at 7 PM.
