The recruitment process for the 7th edition of the POLONISTA NAWA program has officially started. Its aim is to promote the Polish language and popularize Polish studies and research around the world by enabling foreigners interested in the Polish language and culture to undertake studies or carry out research projects in Poland.
Foreign students, PhD students and scientists whose subject of study or research is the Polish language, Polish culture, art, literature and history are invited to participate in the program.
Under the program, students and PhD students can be granted scholarships for full or partial Polish studies at selected universities in Poland. The language of study is Polish. Scientists – scholarship holders of the POLONISTA NAWA program – can carry out research projects lasting from 3 to 12 months at Polish universities, also in English. Polish scientists and academic teachers can carry out research and teaching projects in foreign academic centers that offer Polish studies, Polish studies or Slavic studies with Polish as a minimum at the bachelor’s level.
235 people from 23 countries, including Poland, have benefited from the previous editions of the POLONISTA NAWA program. 187 scholarship holders are students and PhD students, and 48 are scientists.
