Guests of the Polish Games – Creative Poland promotional event got a chance to listen to soundtracks from Polish games and try out newest productions from Poland and China.

To celebrate the participation of Polish gamedev companies in this year’s Game Fusion fair in Beijing, the Polish Institute in Beijing, Indie Games Poland Foundation and China indie Game Alliance once again co-organized the Polish Games – Creative Poland professional event. This year’s event had a special meaning, as it was organized for the first time in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beijing, also being an opportunity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and China.

The event was officially opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to China, Mr. Wojciech Zajączkowski, who emphasized the importance of video games in building a globally recognized image of creative and innovative Poland.  Among the meeting’s participants, there were representatives of Polish and Chinese gaming industry, including publishers, developers and media. The guests could listen to original soundtracks from the most popular Polish games and challenge themselves playing both Polish and Chinese productions, including „This War of Mine”, „Frostpunk” „Children of Morta” and „Moonlighter”, as well as the Chinese „Perfect Day”, „Legion” and „Tales of the Neon Sea”.

Another equally important part of the event was the press conference of one of the most awaited projects of the Polish Institute this year: Polish Games – Creative Poland: The Concert. The concert, about to take place during the WePlay Game Culture Expo in Shanghai in December this year, will be the first concert of Polish game music and the first such venture initiated by the Polish Institute in Beijing.

Co-organized by GAME MUSIC Foundation, China indie Games Alliance and Indie Games Poland Foundation, the concert has a great chance to become one of the most important events in the history of the Polish-Chinese gaming industry cooperation.
