For another year in a row, the Polish Institute in Beijing, in cooperation with the Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), organized an event dedicated to the promotion of Polish literature in China.

In this year’s discussion panel on March 29, 2023 participated: Hu Sang – a well-known Chinese writer and author of the translation of a collection of poems by Wisława Szymborska and essays by Czesław Miłosz, Mrs. Li Yinan – an outstanding Polish philologist and translator of Polish literature (including the works of Olga Tokarczuk ), as well as Mrs. Du Jing – a journalist and author of books devoted to Poland and its landscapes.

The event took place in a hybrid mode – some of the speakers came to the Beijing Jiantou Shuju bookstore, while Mr. Hu, who lives in Shanghai, was present online.
