Polish literature in Hindi – presentation at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2023
Polish Institute New Delhi in collaboration with National Book Trust of India organised presentation entitled Polish literature in Hindi at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2023. The discussion by dr. Tatiana Szurlej and dr. Uday Kumar Shankar took place on 26th of February at 5pm at the International Events Corner, Pragati Maidan. Among audience there was an outstanding poet and translator of Polish poetry to Hindi, Mr. Ashok Vajpeyi.
Dr. Tatiana Szurlej graduated from Indology and Film studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. Currently she is the Polish language instructor at the Delhi University. The academic interests of Tatiana Szurlej are Indian cinema, especially Bollywood, and Hindi literature. Tatiana Szurlej is an author of various articles on mentioned topics written in Polish, English and Hindi.
Dr. Uday Shankar is a graduate and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He is a Hindi critic, editor and translator. He published a criticism book titled Nai Kahani Criticism.
