Polish cooking class at the Indian School of Hospitality

Polish Institute’s team together with Dr. Tatiana Szurlej conducted a culinary masterclass for the students of the Indian School of Hospitality, Gurugram, India.
Few Polish signature dishes were in the menu: Polish red borscht based on homemade beet kvass, potato pancakes, veggie salad and apple pie. Students could also taste Polish appetizers: bread along with vegetarian bean lard, pickled cucumbers and horseradish.
Deputy Director Ms Magdalena Filipczuk gave a talk on “Poland: food and traditions”. Students learnt about some features of Polish cuisine and could taste typical Polish herbs.
