Polish folk ensemble “Ziemia Bydgoska” at the 9th edition of the India International Folk Festival 2025

The Polish Institute in New Delhi, in collaboration with Indian Council For Cultural Relations, has invited the esteemed Polish folk ensemble “Ziemia Bydgoska” to participate in the 9th edition of the India International Folk Festival 2025. This remarkable group of 15 dancers will showcase the rich tapestry of Polish folklore across various cities, including New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Goa, Shillong, and Cherapunji. Audiences can expect captivating performances that highlight Kuyavian, Lemko, and Kurpie traditions, along with a vibrant medley of Polish national dances from the Duchy of Warsaw period. This initiative is proudly supported by the Government of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, further strengthening cultural ties between Poland and India.

Below is the schedule for their performances:

▫️Ghaziabad: 30th September at KIET group of institutions, 3 pm onwards

▫️Shillong : 2 October at La Riti Auditorium, 5pm onwards

▫️Cherapunji : 3 October at NIT Meghalaya auditorium, 3 pm onwards

▫️New Delhi : 5 October at Central Park, Connaught Place, 6:30 pm onwards

▫️Goa : 7th October at Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala mandir, Kala academy Panjim Goa, 5:00 pm onwards
