The 31st Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), one of India’s most prestigious cinematic events, will be held from 6 to 13 November 2025 across twenty venues in Kolkata.

This year, the festival designates Poland as its Country of Focus, honoring Polish remarkable contributions to world cinema.

The Country of Focus segment at KIFF 2025 will features a selection of the latest Polish films, a retrospective dedicated to Wojciech Jerzy Has, the visionary director known for his poetic and philosophical storytelling; screenings of Polish classics; Polish animation and documentaries.
