Film festival: Polish productions and concert at CinEast Festival in Luxembourg

The CinEast festival starts on October 3 in Luxembourg, during which you will see over 10 Polish film productions. At the end of the festival, on October 20, you will be able to hear the Polish music band Neoklez, whose music combines elements of traditional klezmer and Balkan music with inspirations from fresh club music, as well as jazz, funk and rock.

CinEast (“Ciné East”), the Central and Eastern European Film Festival in Luxembourg, is an annual non-profit film festival held annually in October at major venues in the city of Luxembourg as well as other towns of the Grand Duchy. The festival is dedicated to presenting current film productions from countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

The Polish Institute Brussels has partnered with CinEast to bring you the film productions:Processes by Andrei Kashperski, a dark satire which sketches the political landscape of today’s Belarus (in the director’s presence), and Intercepted by Oksana Karovych, a documentary which juxtaposes footage from the war-torn Ukraine and the voices of Russian soldiers operating in the country. The screening of Processes on 16 October will be followed by a debate on the current situation in Belarus.
