From 22 October to 5 November 2025, the 19th edition of the Filemon Film Festival for children and young audiences will take place. The program includes the animated short “Autokar” (“The Coach”) by a Polish artist who studied in Belgium. It tells the story of 8-year-old Agata, who moves from Podlasie in Poland to Brussels in the 1990s. While writing a letter to her father, her pencil falls and rolls away. As Agata searches for it between the bus seats, she enters a fantastical world inhabited by mysterious half-human, half-animal passengers.
The film will be screened as part of the “Shorts: From Brussels With Love” selection.
