Luxembourgish translation of a tale by Stanisław Lem and release of the associated audiobook

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Stanisław Lem’s birth, which coincides with the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Poland and Luxembourg, the polska.lu association presents to Luxembourgish-speaking readers the first translation of Stanisław Lem’s work into Luxembourgish: “How Erg the automorph overcame the blighter” (Jak Erg Samowzbudnik bladawca pokonał), taken from the “Rustproof Tales” (Bajki robotów).

From December 6, you can listen to the audiobook based on this translation « Wéi den Erg Eegendriff de Blatzert iwwerwënnt » on YouTube.

The lauching event on December 6, 2021 at Neumünster Abbey will be held in Luxembourgish.

The audiobook is available with free access on YouTube on this link.

The program will consist of an introduction by Marcin Wierzbicki, president of the association polska.lu, organizer of the event and a speech by Guy Berg – translator. This will be followed by a first public reading of the text by Mr. Roland Meyer, followed by an exchange with the audience.
