Concert by Wojciech Rusin & Sarah Wéry at The Cookery 2024
iMAL – Art Center for Digital Cultures & Technology, with the event ‘The Cookery 2024’ hosts international artists, designers and makers aiming to promote cross-cutting connections and collaborative dynamics with the local community. On Sunday April 14th, after a relaxed brunch and presentations of the workshops results, the second edition of The Cookery will conclude with two late-afternoon concerts featuring Wojciech Rusin & Sarah Wéry.
Wojciech Rusin, who leads one of the Cookery workshops: ‘3D printed wind instruments & graphic’, will be performing an audio-visual show with material from his lastest two records.
Sarah will be playing “Les filles et les garçons”, a music performance for concrete vibrators, metal, household appliances, small drawers that work, synthesiser and cello.
Wojciech Rusin is a Polish-born audio visual artist based in London. He draws inspiration from alchemical and gnostic texts, early renaissance choral music and Eastern European mythologies. He released Syphon LP on AD93 in 2022 and The Funnel LP on Akashic Records in April 2019. He designs and makes 3D-printed reed instruments, reworking ancient designs with contemporary 3D modelling technologies.
