Job offer – Cultural Projects Manager, Press and Communications
We are seeking for a new talent to join our team as a Project, Press and Communications Manager, responsible for developing cultural and public diplomacy projects based on collaborations with partner institutions.
Job description:
As Communications Manager, he/she will work with the team to develop the communications strategy for the Polish Institute Brussels. He/she is responsible for managing social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn) and updating the Institute’s website in three languages (FR, NL, EN).
As a project manager, he/she will develop (by establishing contacts and conducting relevant research), coordinate, and implement projects in accordance with the priorities and guidelines set out in the Polish Institute’s annual programme.
He/she will maintain and develop a network of partners and oversee the budget and administration of the projects he/she carries out.
Candidate profile:
- You have a master’s degree in art and/or communication, cultural studies, European studies, public relations or equivalent.
- You have 1 to 3 years of experience in project management in the following fields: visual arts, literature, film, history, public diplomacy, or equivalent.
- You have excellent writing skills.
- You have a solid knowledge of communication practices, and techniques and image processing.
- You have a very good knowledge of social media practices.
- You have a good knowledge of WordPress, Adobe, Canva, CapCut, etc.
- You are able to work independently and collaborate on group projects.
- Your language skills enable you to work easily in a multilingual environment (Polish, French, English, Dutch).
- You are fluent in Polish, French, and English. A good command of Dutch would be an additional asset.
- You are ready to initiate and lead public and cultural diplomacy projects.
- You have a good knowledge of cultural institutions in Belgium and/or Luxembourg. An interest in the Polish cultural scene is required.
- You are rigorous and creative.
Recruitment conditions:
Type of contract: fixed-term contract with possibility of extension. This post is based in Brussels.
Working hours: 38 hours per week.
