Brussels Multilingualism Week: Learn Polish. Speak the future!
Did you know that Queen Mathilde of Belgium is descended from Polish nobility? That Marie Skłodowska-Curie, at just 17, worked in Belgian hospitals? And that Polish soldiers fought alongside Canadians to liberate Belgium during the Second World War? Or perhaps you wish to learn some phrases to impress your in-laws?
From fighting “for our freedom and yours” to inspiring the Solidarity movement, Poles have contributed in shaping Europe. Today, Poland is a G20 economy and one of Europe’s fastest-developing and safest countries!
