Małgorzata Lebda in Belgium: Literary Events in Brussels and Sambreville
Polish poet, novelist and ultramarathon runner Małgorzata Lebda will meet the public in Belgium on 19 and 20 November 2026. These two events will provide an opportunity to discover her poetic work and her first novel, Vorace (in English Voracious), published in French this year by the publishing house Noir sur Blanc.
Originally from the Beskids, in southern Poland, Małgorzata Lebda is the author of seven poetry collections and the novel Vorace (2023), published in French in 2026, in a translation by Lydia Waleryszak. Her poetry collection Mer de Glace (2021) received the Wisława Szymborska Award in 2022. Its English translation, by Mira Rosenthal, was shortlisted for the 2026 PEN Heaney Prize. Deeply sensory, her writing explores the links between the body, landscapes and the living world.
