In 2005, the little MARZI entered the world of comics through the front door. Over the years, the series, drawn by Silvain SAVOIA and written by Marzena SOWA, has become increasingly popular, to the point of being one of the pillars of the promotion campaign for the cultural program of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union (more information HERE).
Silvain SAVOIA and Marzena SOWA have another project, and not the least! This time, she signs with GAWRON (Krzysztof Gawronkiewicz) the first volume of series about the terrible Warsaw uprising, the 70th anniversary of which we commemorated last year: L’Insurrection (tome 1 : Avant l’orage) – published in French.
For the first time, GAWRON and SOWA will come together to sign their album!
L’Insurrection is a romantic story of Alicja, Krystyna and Edward before the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising in the 1944. So this is the little history meeting the Great Story! In 2014 we commemorated the 70th anniversary of this tragic event.

Silvain SAVOIA has just finished his book Les Esclaves oubliés de Tromelin, a survival story and a stirring testimony on the Sable Island, lost in the middle of the ocean about 500 km from the first inhabited land.
Based on research by Guérout, this story tells about sixty Malagasy prisoners, intended to be sold as slaves, stranded in 1761 with the crew of the ship of the East India Company which convoyed them. Once stranded, only the crew could get on the boat that would take them back to Europe. When the Knight of Tromelin docks the island fifteen years after the sinking, there are only 8 people to be left…
The day of the book signing, 10th of May, is the World Day in memory of slave trafficking, slavery and its abolition.
