The bread and butter work of Teatr Brama, Goleniów’s amateur theatre, is based on authors’ ideas, ideas which discuss the reality which surrounds the authors and interact with them. The show “Poczekalnia” is a reflection on today’s generation. The very word “Poczekalnia”, which means “waiting room”, makes one think of the place where young people can meet when they are waiting to catch a train, but many other meanings also spring to mind. The troupe took it to mean a point of departure and began talking about and taking a critical look at the group itself and the reality for which it feels responsible. “Waiting room”… Isn’t this also a metaphor for adolescence? A waiting room in which we take decisions about our futures (work, identity, opinions and so on)
