Tomasz SAMOJLIK
There are two faces to Tomasz SAMOJLIK. By day, he’s a bilogy PhD, dealing with science (more specifically the history of nature in the forest of Białowieża, about which he is undertaking research for the Institute of Biology of Mammals, which is part of the Polish Academy of Sciences. By night, he writes and draws comics in which he combines a gift for telling stories with his considerable knowledge of biology. This allows him to transmit his knowlege to the youngest generation of readers in a fun way. One of his recent scripts was for a cartoon on Pompik the bison. He has also produced work for the audio version of the comic book Ryjówka przeznaczenia (The Shrew of Destiny).
