Creating Together | Celebrating 10 years of Eastern Partnership

The Brussels Jazz Orchestra, one of the best jazz big bands in Europe, invites virtuoso soloists musicians from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine for a Slavic and Caucasian jazz soundtrack. As part of the celebration of ten years of “Eastern Partnership” cooperation between the European Union and these countries, BOZAR is offering a unique concert celebrating youth, diversity and cultural dialogue. Two VJ’s – Polish visual artist Jagoda Chalcinska, also known as JAGO VJ. and Jem the Misfit (Jemma Woolmore) – will create a visual atmosphere live during the concert!

About JAGO VJ
JAGO VJ (Jagoda Chalcinska) – visual artist, VJ, video designer and producer with a diploma in film studies and screenwriting. Her AV performances and VJ sets are exclusively based on video footage of her own authorship. Jago’s dreamy compositions raise the mood of music and intensify the senses turning concerts and live sets into audiovisual spectacles. She had the opportunity to present her work at renowned festivals, galleries and events in Europe such as: Mapping Festival (Switzerland, 2012 & 2013), Gem-Fest (Georgia), Lunchmeat (Czech Republic), European Media Art Festival (Germany), Pluto Audio Visual Art Festival (Belgium), Live Performers Meeting (Italy), Electrode Festival (Italy), Kazantip Festival (Crimea), Center of Contemporary Art (Torun, Poland), Audioriver Festival (Poland) and many more.
