Marcin Wasilewski Trio Concert

50th anniversary of ECM

As part of the 50th anniversary of ECM (Edition of Contemporay Music), an independent record label created in November 1969 by Manfred Eicher in Munich, Flagey brings together for four days the best of the artists associated with the legendary label.

This year 2019 is rich in celebration, as the Marcin Wasilewski Trio (website) is also celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Polish trio counts as one of the most important and unique jazz groups of today. The trio is not just a household name in Poland, but its unique mix of traditional jazz with a very individual sound is internationally conquering the hearts of many a jazz enthusiast. This is your chance to experience the unbridled energy and chemistry of the trio in person:
Marcin Wasilewski, piano
Sławomir Kurkiewicz, double bass
Michał Miśkiewicz, drums
