Pro-peace and anti-war atelier organized for children aged 6-12 years led by the artist Marek Kuś at the Atelier 34zero Museum.

A two-hour workshop will be held at the Atelier 34zero Museum for children aged 6 to 12. The artist, Mr Kuś, will himself lead this artistic workshop. Based on the leitmotif of his works, which are human silhouettes reproduced in graphite pencil on large-format paintings, the artist will talk about the ideas that guide his work, such as freedom, individual freedom, peace and equality. The workshop participants will draw the silhouettes of their fellow participants on the sheets and fill in the outlines of the figures painted by the artist with colour. This artistic process will serve as a starting point for a discussion on the limits of individual freedom, tolerance, peace and egalitarianism, with reference to the concept of irenology by the Norwegian sociologist J. Galtung. The Polish Institute plans to reinforce the pro-peace and anti-war message of the activity by providing the participants with pro-Ukrainian materials (postcards, stickers).

The workshop starts at 2pm and costs 15€.
