The 12th edition of the international poetry festival is back in full force with 19 new poets and the topics of European Year of Youth and Poets from Black Europe. With the participation of Zuzanna Bartoszek (Poland), Lemuel de Graav (NL), Anastasia Gavrilovici (RU), Abraham Guerrero Tenorio (ES), Sytse Jansma (NL), Dania O. Tausen (Farore Island)

The TRANSPOESIE poetry festival is organised for the 12th consecutive year by EUNIC Brussels, the European Union National Institutes for Culture based in the Belgian capital and its partners. The festival celebrates multilingualism by bringing poetry in dozens of languages to Brussels. It marks the annual European Day of Languages and Linguistic Diversity on 26 September by organising a series of events

Zuzanna Bartoszek

Born in 1993 in Poznań, Poland. Artist, poet. Her practice includes poetry, drawings and paintings. She took part in many exhibitions for example in MoMA Warsaw, Kevin Space in Vienna, Cell Project Space in London, Kunsthalle Zurich, Arsenic Lausanne, Pina in Vienna, Stereo in Warsaw. Her poems were published in such magazines as: Twórczość, Dwutygodnik, Mały Format, Lampa, Czas Kultury, Biuro Literackie, Fabularie. In 2016 Disastra published her debut poetry collection Niebieski dwór (Blue Outdoors). In 2021 her second book was released entitled Klucz wisi na Słońcu (The Key Hangs on The Sun) for which she has been nominated for Wisława Szymborska Award.
