On July 6, Polish Institute Brussels supported the screening of “The Cold War” (“Zimna Wojna”, 2018) during the Europe Inside Out Summer School at KU Leuven. This international project by KU Leuven, the oldest university in Belgium, brought together students from various countries who gathered at Cinema ZED Leuven to watch the Oscar-winning film by Paweł Pawlikowski. Before the screening, Kris Van Heuckelom, Associate Professor of Cultural Studies and Polish Studies at KU Leuven, gave a short lecture on the historical context.

After the screening, attendees enjoyed refreshments provided by Polish Institute Brussels. During the meeting, students also had the opportunity to learn about the Institute’s latest projects and talk about Polish culture.
