Meeting: Bénédicte Lotoko (BE) and Grażyna Plebanek (PL) at the Librebook European multilingual bookshop in Brussels

Librebook is organizing a series of meetings ‘Bxl ma belle’ with French-speaking, Flemish-speaking and foreign authors who live in Brussels and describe the city in their work. The first meeting of the ‘Belgo-Congolaises à Bruxelles – Amours et désamours, brillance et déchéance’ series will take place on November 14, 2024. Belgian-Congolese writer Bénédicte Lotoko and Polish author Grażyna Plebanek have decided to portray a Belgian-Congolese woman in their novels ‘Ça brille encore’ (special mention of the Senghor 2024 jury) and ‘Furie’. Their discussion of the similarities and differences of their unique perspectives will be moderated by Pernilla Jourde.
