A Fordított partitúrák (Counter-Scores) egy koreográfiai „ellen-térkép”, amelynek során Wojciech Rybicki fiatal lengyel koreográfus és táncművész olyan helyi történeteket és emlékeket gyűjt és önt egyszerű koreográfiákba, amelyek ellenállnak egy negyed vagy épület „hivatalos” történetének. Partitúrája nem dallamokból, hanem lakótelepeken élő emberekkel folytatott beszélgetések töredékeiből épül fel. 

A koreográfus a helyszínen – ez esetben Csepel lakótelepi kontextusában – gyűjtött emlékeket a markírozás vagy jelölés módszerével (amikor a táncos redukált vagy leegyszerűsített mozdulatokkal gyakorol) rendezi jelenetekbe, amelyek a stagnálás rendszerközi érzését tárják fel. Az előadás így egy elmúlt rezsim (legyen szó a kommunizmusról vagy más elnyomó rendszerről) és a jövő között felfüggesztődött elfeledett és láthatatlan koreográfiák – láthatatlan érzések és tapasztalatok – archívumává válik. 

„Előbb-utóbb mind feledésbe merülünk. Ahogy az idő telik, az emberek elfelejtenek minket, az arcunkat, hangunkat, a testünket, a táncunkat. Minden, amit most szeretünk és féltünk, eltűnik. Ha csak a tánc történetét nézzük: kinek a táncoló teste marad meg az emlékekben, és kinek a teste merül feledésbe? Miért őrződnek meg egyes táncok emlékei, míg mások eltűnnek a történelem lapjairól? Tűnjünk hát el – de addig is táncoljunk az emlékekkel.” (Wojciech Rybicki)

Wojciech Rybicki: Counter-Scores

Counter-Scores is a choreographic counter-map: a collection of choreographies and memories that resist the official history of a district or a building. The score is composed of fragments of conversations with people living in modernist housing blocks. 

Using the choreographic practice of marking (the act of practicing a given choreography in a reduced or simplified form), Rybicki transforms memories collected in the housing blocks of Csepel into choreographic material. The performance thus becomes an archive of invisible choreographies exploring the intersystemic feeling of stagnation: through traces of feelings, gestures, and experiences suspended between past political systems and uncertain futures.

“At some point in history, we will all be forgotten. Time will pass, and people will forget us, our faces and voices, our bodies and dances. Everything we love and fear, will disappear. In historical accounts of dance, whose dancing bodies are remembered, and whose are forgotten? Why are the memories of some dances preserved, while others disappear from the pages of history? So let us disappear – but in the meantime, let us dance with memory.” (Wojciech Rybicki)
