12th of March / 19:00 / Panel discussion with experts from Poland and Germany at the Polish Institute Berlin
The problem of disinformation or the dissemination of false or unverified information has been known for a long time, but thanks to the global web, the scope of this phenomenon has grown unimaginably. The fight against disinformation has become an important challenge for the modern world. The discussion will delve into the philosophical and social context of the phenomenon of disinformation – how individuals can develop critical thinking skills in a world saturated with conflicting narratives and how to use information more responsibly. How contemporary art deals with the topic of fake news and how art can help us develop critical thinking skills.
