Belgian Premiere of Penderecki’s 4th String Quartet

The String quartet No.4 by Krzysztof PENDERECKI, the greatest Polish composer of our times, will be played for the first time in Belgium on 15 December 2016 in Flagey‘s Studio 4, whose wonderful acoustics will only serve to make this composition, commissioned jointly by London’s Wigmore Hall (with the support of the Hoffmann Foundation), Flagey and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Warsaw. It will be performed by the prestigious London-based quartet Belcea Quartet on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.
The concert will take place in the presence of Krzysztof PENDERECKI.
