The latest film of Agnieszka Holland raises the complicated subject of the border crossing between Belarus and Poland by refugees wishing to reach the European Union. “Green Border” has been recognized with many awards, including a Special Jury Prize at the 80th Venice International Film Festival.

Agnieszka Holland is a living legend of Polish cinema, winner of many awards including a Golden Globe and several nominations for Academy Awards. As of 2020, she is the president of the European Film Academy.
