SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM OF HUNGARIAN SCHOLARSCHIP BOARD OFFICE  (MÖB) 

 Based on the consensus of Polish – Hungarian the Hungarian Scholarship Board Office (MÖB) offers the following scholarships to Polish universities:


– Scholarships for doctoral students (PhD, DLA) – the six-month scholarship to selected Polish university addressed to people with a master’s degree under 35, 5 students / year. The scholarship provides education free of charge, accommodation, travel expenses, 360 USD/ month. Polish language required. 

– Scholarships for university and college students. Five-month scholarship to the Polish university (with the exception of the art universities), 10 students / year. The scholarship provides education free of charge, accommodation, travel expenses, 250 USD/month. Polish language required. 

– Scholarships for students and day students, students of Polish studies – practical learning the Polish language, for students of universities and colleges. Five-month fellowship at one of the Polish universities, 40 locations per year. Is provided free education, accommodation, travel expenses, the scholarship of $ 200 per month. Requires knowledge of Polish.

– A scholarship to go to the scientific research work (you can stay longer) – scholarship for academics, academics. Is assured accommodation, travel expenses, scholarship. Requires knowledge of Polish, English and German. 18 places per year, length of fellowship 1-9 months per person. Check for any chosen direction of Polish universities.

– A scholarship to go to the scientific research work (staying) – scholarship for academics, academics. Is assured accommodation, travel expenses, scholarship. Requires knowledge of Polish, English and German. 5 places per year, length of fellowship 5-21 days / person. Check for any chosen direction of Polish universities.

– Polish language summer school – for students and teachers of universities and colleges. 2-4 week stay at summer school of Polish language. Is assured accommodation, meals, travel expenses, scholarships naukowe.12 places per year. Requires knowledge of Polish.

The Queen Jadwiga Fund – Competition

According to our nine-year long tradition so far, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, announces a competition for The Queen Jadwiga Fund Scholarships for the academic year 2012/2013.

The scholarships are dedicated to young academic staff and doctoral students of the universities in  Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2000 more than 800 scholarships were granted to recipients from 21 countries. Their stay in Krakow provides a scientific research under the tuition of the Jagiellonian professors for 1-3 months between October 2012 and June 2013. Papers are being received till June 15th 2012 and the results will be known in July 2012. The Krzysztof Skubiszewski Scholarship 2011/2012

The scholarship is open to candidates from Central Europe, the Balkans, the Baltic States, Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia & the Caucasus 

The scholarship holder will be given a one year internship during the 2011/2012 academic year at the University of Warsaw (or another Polish university) in the field of law, political sciences or contemporary history. The aim of the scholarship is to promote democracy, human rights and the principle of law-governed states.

The scholarship is open to candidates who have completed a course of higher education and have successfully defended their doctoral thesis (or who have other significant academic achievements) or to those who can demonstrate significant achievements in the field of public welfare. 
All documents relating to the application must be submitted by 31 March 2011.

Thesaurus Poloniae is a three-month fellowship programme of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, implemented by the International Cultural Centre in Krakow. It is addressed to individuals who carry out research on culture, history,  multicultural heritage of Poland and broadly understood Central Europe. Both individuals who deal with management and preservation of cultural heritage in practical terms and those who carry out theoretical research in the area of heritage, history, sociology, ethnography and anthropology are invited to participate in the programme.

 

Thesaurus Poloniae is divided into two categories: ”Senior Programme” for university professors and senior lecturers and “Junior Programme” for PhD holders and doctoral students. The ICC offers access to research facilities, archives, library resources and to education and research programmes of Krakow’s research and cultural institutions. The ICC offers fellowship holders single accommodation in the city centre and a place where they can carry out their research work at the Centre’s premises on Krakow’s Main Square. A successful candidate for the programme will be granted a monthly fellowship of PLN 3 500, i.e. ca. EUR 850, for participants in the Senior Programme, or PLN 2 500, i.e. EUR 600, for participants in the Junior Programme, as well as a one-off grant to cover the purchase of books and other research aids (PLN 1500, ca EUR 400).
