Michał Waszyński’s film “It Will Get Better” 🗺
The film club of the Polish Institute in Kyiv will show Michał Waszyński’s film “It Will Get Better”, which was the cinematographic debut of the popular comic duo of Tońko and Szczepko, hosts of the famous radio show “Merry Lviv Wave”. The film which was a box office hit of 1930s is the first part of Michał Waszyński’s “Lviv trilogy”.
The film was never shown in Kyiv during Soviet times!
Guests of the event will be: writer, screenwriter Stanislav Tsalyk and film director, media artist Oleh Chornyi who have been collecting information about Michał Waszyński’s life and films for many years.
The film will be shown in Polish language with Ukrainian subtitles.
