The Story of Irena Sendlerowa

The film is based on unique interviews with the protagonist that were recorded during the last days of her life. Irena Sendlerowa tells about the rescue of the poorest Jewish children from the Warsaw ghetto. Change of identity, forging of documents, taking children out of ghetto to Polish houses are shown in artistic form with the help of archive footage from Poland, USA, and Russia.
The film will be presented by Irena Sendlerowa’s daughter, Janina Zgrzembska.
The film will be shown in the original language with Ukrainian subtitles.
