2nd International Conference dedicated to the January Uprising of 1863

As part of the 2nd International Conference dedicated to the January Uprising of 1863, supported by the Polish Institute in Kyiv, Col. Tadeusz Krząstek from the University of Warsaw will give the lecture “The January Uprising in the History and Tradition of the Commonwealth of Three Nations”.
After the completion of the first part of the celebration in the Stone Hall we would like to invite you to the excursion to the Skew Caponier where you can see soldiers’ cells and watch the renewed exhibition. The excursion will include the story about the heroes of the uprising who died fighting the czarist regime, Wladislaw and Zygmunt Padlewski. The story will be told near the commemorative table which was opened on the 155th anniversary of the January Uprising in January 2018.
