Opening concert of the 39th International Kyiv Music Fest 2018 is an artistic dialog of sorts between Ukraine and Poland.

Prominent Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki will stand at the conductor’s desk himself!

Concert program:

Bohdana Froliak “Songs of Stars” for symphony orchestra
Ihor Shcherbakov “Cello Concerto” (World first performance)
Krzysztof Penderecki “Credo” for soloists, children’s and mixed choirs and symphony orchestra (Kyiv first performance)

Conductors:

Krzysztof Penderecki (Poland), winner of numerous awards, great contemporary composer.
Roman Rewakowicz (Poland), prominent conductor and public figure.
