The 7th International Music Festival О-FEST 2019 will be held in the open air on June 8 and 9 in Bucha town park and on the following day in Khreschatyi park (The People’s Friendship Arch).

The international music festival of operetta, opera, and musical theater O-Fest was initiated by the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theater in 2013. The concept of the large scale cultural and artistic event belongs to the art director of the Kyiv Operetta Theater, chairman of the National Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine, People’s Artist of Ukraine Bohdan Strutynskyi.

Singer Emilia Zielińska (soprano) will represent Poland at the festival. She performs, among others, on the stages of the Łódź New Theater and Polish Chamber Opera, as well as does a lot of teaching. The Kyiv public already had an opportunity to enjoy Emilia Zielińska’s talent in the international project “On a Romany Note” organized by the National Operetta of Ukraine.
