Die dritte Ausstellung der Reihe „Was nehmen wir mit?“ in der Galerie des Polnischen Instituts Berlin widmet sich der unsichtbaren Arbeit. Die Künstler*innen Pınar Öğrenci und Raman Tratsiuk hinterfragen, welche Arbeit in unserer Gesellschaft anerkannt wird – und welche im Verborgenen bleibt.

Im Fokus stehen Tätigkeiten, die oft im Schatten der Wirtschaft existieren: Altenpflege, saisonale Erntearbeit oder Bergbau. Besonders Migrant*innen leisten diese unerlässliche Arbeit – doch ihr Beitrag zum Wohlstand bleibt unsichtbar. Pınar Öğrenci und Raman Tratsiuk machen diese Realität in ihrer Kunst sichtbar und eröffnen eine Reflexion über Migration, soziale Ungleichheit und wirtschaftliche Abhängigkeiten.

The third exhibition in the series „What do we take with us?“ at the Gallery of the Polish Institute Berlin is dedicated to invisible work. Artists Pınar Öğrenci and Raman Tratsiuk explore which forms of labor are recognized in our society—and which remain hidden.

The focus is on jobs that often exist in the shadows of the economy: elderly care, seasonal agricultural work or mining. Migrants, in particular, carry out this essential labor—yet their contribution to prosperity remains invisible. Through their art, Pınar Öğrenci and Raman Tratsiuk bring this reality to light, opening up a dialogue on migration, social inequality, and economic dependencies.
