“Days of Performance Art” were founded by the Polish Institute in Kyiv in order to promote this contemporary art type in Ukraine. Since 2008, the Days moved from Kyiv to Lviv where it is now a part of the “Contemporary Art Week” organized by the Institute of Actual Art and”Dzyga” Artistic Association.
Since 2009 a part of the Days’ program is the “Performance School”, which is the only chance for Ukrainian young artists to learn the art of performance from established masters. Curated by the most reputable Polish performer Janusz Bałdyga, the “Performance School” educated more than two hundred persons.
