6th International M. Starovetskyi competition for young trumpeters is held in order to discover and support young talented trumpeters, improve their technical and artistic abilities, popularize the achievements of Ukrainian and foreign composers, give the young musicians the experience of participation in competitions.

Tomasz Ślusarczyk works with many orchestras in Poland and abroad. He teaches the baroque trumpet playing in the Arts Academy in Bydgoszcz.

Arkadiusz Garus participated in master classes of prominent trumpet players on repeated occasions. For many years he teaches at the Music College of Bytom and the Music School in Żywiec. His students and graduates receive numerous awards in Poland.
