Special attention will be paid to young readers at this year’s festival. Eight authors that write and illustrate books for children and teenagers are invited to the festival by the organizers. One of them is Marcin Szczygielski, a Polish author.

Marcin Szczygielski depicted his own experience of six years at the position of art editor of Polish “Playboy” magazine in his satirical novel “PL-BOY”. As well as plays and books for adults that often touch upon tabooed themes, Marcin Szczygielski also writes books for children and teenagers. One of them, “The Ark of Time” (2013), won many awards and will be presented at this year’s literary festival in Odesa.
