In the proposed book, the author makes an ambitious attempt to collect and present information about all the existing Roman Catholic monasteries in Ukraine, which emerged before the Bolsheviks came to power. In addition to local lore, the publication contains significant visual material – more than 800 photographs, a list of places for easier searching, as well as a brief description of the Roman Catholic orders. Important in the book is the emphasis on the current state of these architectural monuments, which are an integral and beautiful part of the historical landscape of Ukraine.

The Cave of Philosophers is a unique format for recording drama, a play by Zbigniew Herbert. This is a polyphonic a-beech, created with the involvement of theater directors, professional actors, as well as teachers of stage speech. In fact, it is a full-fledged radio show: high-quality recording, use of sound special effects, musical design.

The title of the play refers to Plato’s Myth of the Cave. This is a masterfully stylized work of ancient tragedy with allusions to the texts of Nietzsche, Eliot, Sartre…
