Roman Revakovych is a conductor, artist, promoter of contemporary composers, a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Music with an impressive experience in cooperation with creative teams in Poland and Ukraine. In particular, it was with his support that the premieres of works by Ukrainian composers Yuriy Laniuk, Ihor Shcherbakov and Edward Silitsky, and later Bohdana Frolyak, Bohdan Sehin, Mykhailo Shved and Oleksandr Shymko, Zoltan Almasy, Svitlana Azarova, Maria Oliynyk and Liubava Sydorenko took place. Roman Revakovych is the founder and president of the Pro Musica Viva Foundation, which promotes the development of various music projects. Among them are the Days of Ukrainian Music in Warsaw and participation in the Crossroads of Cultures festival.
The Khmelnytsky Academic Symphony Orchestra together with the outstanding vocalist Oksana Nikitiuk (mezzo-soprano) will present works by Polish composers Adam Jazembski and Henryk Mikolaj Hurecki, as well as Chamber Symphony No. 3 for voice and chamber orchestra based on poems by Taras Shevchenko by his contemporary Oleh Kyva.
