“Race To Maidan” Warsaw-Kyiv Relay Race

The main idea of the “Race To Maidan” is to celebrate the heroism of Ukrainians and to thank for reminding Poland and Europe about the importance of European values. We want to express our solidarity with Ukraine and announce loudly that “inter arma musae NON silent”, i.e. art, including the art of racing, cannot stay silent even when Ukraine is in war for its statehood. Our race is a pacifist initiative and a protest against Russian aggression.

The concept was initiated by the director of the First program of the National Radio Company of Poland Kamil Dąbrowa and the founder of the “Poland Runs” action Piotr Pacewicz.

The final point of the relay race that starts in Warsaw will be the Ukrainian House in Kyiv (Khreshchatyk st., 2) on November 21 at 12:00. The final of the race will occur on the first anniversary of the Euromaidan and the tenth anniversary of the Orange Revolution.
