Polish poets Aneta Kamińska, Mariusz Grzebalski and Bogdan Zadura participate in II International Poetry Festival Meridian Czernowitz 2011
Participants of the three-day event will be famous and interesting poets and artists from 9 countries: Austria, Israel, Moldova, Germany, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Switzerland and France. After conclusion of the festival a collection of participating poets’ poems will be published.Poland will be represented at the festival by Aneta Kamińska, Mariusz Grzebalski and Bohdan Zadura.
Aneta Kamińska is a poet and translator. She graduated from the Polish philology faculty of the Warsaw University and teaches Polish to foreigners. She is the author of three poetry books. Aneta also translates modern Ukrainian poetry.
Mariusz Grzebalski writes poetry and prose. He was born in 1969 in Poznań. He is the editor of several book series and magazines. In 2001 his book “Graffiti” was published in German. He engages in advertising and publishing of educational books.
Bohdan Zadura is a poet, prose writer and translator. He was born in 1945 in the town of Puławy in eastern Poland. He studied philosophy in the Warsaw University. Bohdan Zadura is the editor-in-chief of the “Tworczość” journal, longstanding member of the editorial board of the „Akcent” quarterly, contributor to many Polish cultural and literary periodic publications. He also writes prose, literary critical essays, translates from English, Russian, Hungarian and Ukrainian.
