“Kremenets Lyceum As An Example Of An Enlightenment Model Of School In The Territory Of Ukraine In The First Half Of 19Th Century” (Kremenets, 2012.-235 p., illustrated) is the Ukrainian translation of the scientific book of the Polish historian, which summarizes numerous studies of the well-known Kremenets school. The book is based on the new materials found in archives of Ukraine (most of them were discovered in Kyiv archives), Lithuania, and Poland. It describes the activities of the Volyn gymnasium and the lyceum in Kremenets. It was the first educational institution that used the Enlightenment model of school of the semi-higher type in the Right Bank Ukraine in the beginning of the 19th century. The book studies the specifics and structure, funding basics, material, scientific and didactic base, management and teaching personnel, students and heritage of the school, and its influence on the origin of the university in Kyiv.
