He is a laureate of the Kościelski literary prize,Hubert Burda Prize for young Eastern European poets, prize of the Polish Culture Foundation, presented by TadeuszRóżewicz.
“Black Square” contains poems written by Tadeusz Dąbrowski in various years, where the author presents interpretations of abstract non-figurative concepts and seeks for the metaphysical essence of the art. The author uses the perception of color in his language as a tool, emphasizing its artificial nature and placing significant importance on the mundane. The book uses the dialog of the text and European-style remodeling abstractions of Lesia Khomenko that depict decorations, which cover the truths.
