The first Festival of Chopin’s piano music will be held in the open air in the territory of the castle-museum Radomysl.
Piotr Szychowski is a laureate of international piano competitions in Rome, Bucharest, Takasaki, Darmstadt, Ettlingen, Bydgoszcz, Lodz and Warsaw. He debuted in Berlin Philharmonic with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra playing Mozart’s Piano concert c-moll KV491. In July 2010 he performed in front of 10 thousand audience in Torun with Jose Carreras. He plays in the most prestigious halls of Europe and the world, in particular in London, Berlin, Rome, Moscow, Edinburgh, Budapest, Shanghai, Beirut, and at national philharmonics in Sofia, Murmansk, Krasnodar and Warsaw. He participated in prestigious piano festivals in Duszniki-Zdrój, Antonin, Warsaw, and Słupsk.
In 2009 he got Ph.D. in art criticism and was appointed as a researcher at piano department of the Music Academy in Poznan.
