Poland will be represented at the conference by a former Polish official, well-known educational worker and public figure Krzysztof Stanowski.

His speech is scheduled at 11:25 on Saturday, December 13 (Diplomatic Academy / Velyka Zhytomyrska st., 2)

Krzysztof Stanowski is the president of the “Solidarity” foundation that primarily finances educational programs. In 1989 he was among the initiators of creation of the “Education for Democracy” foundation and headed this organization from 2001 to 2007. Author of educational programs and publications dedicated to public education and work of civic organizations. In 2007-2010 – Deputy Minister of Education of Poland, in 2010-2012 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland. 

For two days intellectuals from France, Ukraine and other countries will share their thoughts about the challenges and experience of the transitional post-Communist period and discuss Ukrainian prospects of changes in cultural, social, political and economical areas.
