A special event dedicated to the V4 30th Anniversary and the handling over the presidency of Visegrad will be held on July 1st in Jerusalem.
The event at the Jerusalem Cinematheque on JUly 1st at 19:00 will include the handling over the presidency of Visegrad by HE the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Mr Marek Magierowski to HE the Ambassador of Hungary Mr. Levente Benko.
The event will include screening of 4 animation short films of artists from the 4 countries of Visegrad group accompanied by a cocktail with the Ambassadors, diplomats, the 4 coubtries representatives, cultural institutions and friends.
The Visegrád Group, Visegrád Four, V4, or European Quartet, is a cultural and political alliance of four countries of central Europe – Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland, al which are members of the European Union and NATO.
Inauguration of Polish-language events at the Polish
On January 23, the library of the Polish Institute hosted the first meeting in a new series of events held in Polish, aimed at the Polish-speaking community in Israel. The initiative seeks to create an open and welcoming space for conversation and the exchange of experiences.
