International Conference Haifa–Łódź: Giving New Life to Industrial Spaces

Bezalel and Cinema Spiegel Pay Tribute to Andrzej Wajda
The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem are celebrating the legacy of Polish director Andrzej Wajda with a programme combining a course at Bezalel inspired by his work, featuring guest lecturers from Poland, with a month of screenings of his films and lectures at Cinema Spiegel, the school’s cinema.

Beyond the Ghetto Wall – Concerts in Memory of Rywka Lipszyc
In November, Polish composer and accordionist Maciej Zimka will premiere a new work inspired by the diary of Rywka Lipszyc, a Jewish teenager from the Łódź Ghetto. Combining mezzo-soprano, chamber ensemble and electronic sounds, the work will be performed in Kraków, Łódź and Gdańsk under the patronage of the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv.

The Flight of the Story: European Night of Literature
The 5th edition of the European Night of Literature, taking place on 20–21 October 2026 at Liebling Haus in Tel Aviv, invites audiences to two evenings of literature, music and creative activity exploring journeys, places and identities across Europe – featuring a Polish contribution and a first glimpse of a new anthology of contemporary Polish women writers, to be published by Ahuzat Bayit in 2027.
