The Polish Institute invites to a fascinating lecture by Zofia Hartman, author of Sugihara’s List — a book that tells one of the most moving stories of World War II: the list of entry visas issued by Chiune Sugihara, the Vice-Consul of Japan in Lithuania, which saved the lives of thousands of Jews.
During the lecture, Hartman will speak about the process of writing the book, the historical research behind it, and the stories of the refugees who were granted a “new life” thanks to Sugihara’s courageous actions.
The lecture will be held in English
