Summer Intensive Film Workshops at the Polish National Film School in Łódź

A unique opportunity for emerging filmmakers, audiovisual artists, and film students to develop their creative practice under the guidance of internationally acclaimed directors, cinematographers, and artists. Join a series of intensive workshops combining artistic mentorship, hands-on experience, and experimentation in the professional environment of one of the world’s most renowned film schools.

The Polish National Film School in Łódź invites filmmakers, film students, graduates, and audiovisual artists to take part in its Summer Intensive Workshops – an international programme of specialised film courses and masterclasses led by internationally recognised creators: Magnus von Horn, Radek Ładczuk, Piotr Dumała, and Jacek Nagłowski.

The workshops are designed for participants who wish to deepen their artistic skills, explore new approaches to filmmaking, and develop their own cinematic language. Through small working groups, individual mentorship, and direct collaboration with tutors and peers, participants will work on creative projects in professional production conditions, using the School’s studios and specialised equipment.

The programme combines practical experience with artistic reflection, offering workshops in directing, cinematography, animation, and new audiovisual forms. Participants will explore storytelling, visual expression, authorship, and contemporary film practices while receiving guidance from active and internationally awarded professionals.

The Łódź Film School Intensive Workshops continue the School’s long tradition of nurturing generations of influential filmmakers, cinematographers, and visual artists. They offer a space where artistic research, experimentation, and hands-on filmmaking meet – encouraging participants to develop original ideas and discover their own creative paths.
